Pitfire Artisan Pizza has some damn good pizza! They have plenty of locations scattered throughout the greater Los Angeles metroplex! So if you are in the area, this is a must! The environment is casual, the scene is lively whether you are sitting indoors or on their patio and the pizza great!
on my plate: the MARGHERITA (fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, torn basil, parmesan and california evoo), the PEPPERONI (fresh mozzarella and torn basil) and the GREENS, EGG & HAM (braised broccolini, farm eggs, 4 cheese garlic oil, parmesan and La Quercia prosciutto)
FOUR PRONG FORK REVIEW:
Service: Great! | Reservations: I’m not sure if they take reservations, but when I went, there wasn’t a wait. I would call ahead, just in case. | Parking: It’s Los Angeles… good luck. | Price: $$
– GOOD TO KNOW –
If you go while the weather is nice (in California, its 90% of the time), try to choose a location with an outdoor patio. The LA breeze plus a pie cooked in a fire oven makes for a pretty good night!
